I would have voted Starla honestly, but for that her entry was late. That said, obScene had a really sweet sound and it worked for me. The collaboration of Meistr and company was solid too.

Sadly i wasn't able to make this compo as i had fell ill and was too tired to compo. I haven compo'd whilst ill, but that was usually towards the end of the illness, whereas this was at the start, so i felt really shocking. Probably the worst Flu i've had in ages to be fair, i just didn't want to make music. What makes this sad is this is a damn good theme, but my body was more important in this moment. Either way i still managed to make a track based of the theme and share it in the sharing off channel of the ThaSauce DIscord, but that was after i had finally gained the energy lol. Anyways onto the voting!

Unknown Pseudoartist - That was a short intro, this is quite the sudden drop. This is some really experimental stuff, the synth sounds are extremely detuned, and the melody is quite atonal. It's very atonal and kind of weird, which i was not expecting. The mix is pretty good, but it's quite in your face, especially for a genre that's mostly sounds like it's relaxing, despite it's atonal nature. Sadly i don't think this is for me, it's a little....much dissonant wise, but i did like how cool it sounded. Good job!

Koekepan - 5 minutes from Koekepan les goo! Sweet kickdrum, this is nice and downtempo like, it's quite chill. That kickdrum is nice and punchy, but not too in your face. I do like the whirring synths, kind of imitating a motor of some kind. This one is 5 minutes, and it is evident by how slow of a developer it is. There isn't much major changes until about 1 minute and 30 in, when the mallets come in, otherwise it's mostly a calm repeating number. This one is very much a background thing, but perhaps it's a bit too repetitive for me. I don't feel like there is any changes happening throughout, even when there is a soft pad changing. That doesn't mean it's terrible, it sounds really nice, and it is very nicely mixed. It's just a test of endurance, and for me, i don't think i could make a track like this and not at least add a different section at least 2 minutes in. Still though it's very cool, and the mix is great, good job!

DarkShadow - Laser shadow this week, with some seriously intense synth work, and a thick kickdrum that sounds like Kraftwerk shooting some lasers lol. It's very cool sounding to be fair, kind of video game like. Maybe a bit too loud for it's purpose, and the square melody was maybe a little too dissonant for my liking, however it sounds very cool, this is a really interesting idea. Good job!

obScene - Nice fade in piano, this one sounds very pretty already just listening to it. Definately very positive sound and emotional, which this side usually does an excellent job with, it's my weakness. This one is already that, it sounds wonderful and magical. It's not my favourite, but it is beautiful either way. I love the dynamics, and the cool effects on the strings, it doesn't sound like conventional strings. The piano work is awesome as always, i love it so much. Yeah this is just absolutely wonderful, what else can i say. Beyond wonderful, enough for the top spot, it was excellent. Incredible work!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Already starting with the funk woo! This is some proper Sega Genesis sounds but with modern production, it's super funky and catchy. I really feel these melodies you just know your stuff. Mix is great too, you always do great mixes, it's hard to critique, when they're just so good. I love how you keep giving me stuff throughout, there is a lot to take in for 3 minutes. I really couldn't come up with and critiques, it's just soo good. So good i picked it for the 2nd spot, amazing work!

Meistr - Nice synths, very cinematic in parts, but mostly rave like. That is one hell of a kick, it's way too powerful, it's shoving me violently. Especially when the rest of the sounds are more calm and soft, but the kick is very violent. Wasn't expecting the shift into a more Synthpop sound, that was nice. it wasn't sudden as well, there was a long transition effect into the 2nd half. The 2nd half is much better than the first, it was more balanced and not so compressed, the first part was just intense kick and sidechain. Still though it was a lot of fun, good job!

Arcana - Nice piano, i think it's fed through a bitcrush machine, it sounds kind of different than a standard piano. Cool chiptune melody, it has a trance feel from Arcana as i would kind of expect, but in a more chiptune way, it's very cool. The melody is great, it's in key and in tune, i like it a lot. I love the effects on the vocals too, it's so nice and spacious. Modular drums are also fire too, it's kind of got an experimental edge to the whole thing, so it really feels like were in cyberspace. Yeah i feel like giving you this one, it was that good. Well done!

Coloradoweeks - Huzzah to the new DAW! I love these synth chords, it's so unique! The drums are on the quiet side, especially in comparison to the intense synth work, but i don't know if it's on purpose or not. Not sure how you recorded the vocals, but i heard a bit of the keyboard sound in there lol. I also thought the vocals were incomplete, but then they come in towards the end, so i don't know if the pause was intentional. Problem is the track is very nice, it just needs a few tweaks to make it even better, i feel this DAW is giving you a problem, because i feel the vocals are an incomplete render maybe. Still though it sounds killer, i love those chords! Good job!

Starla - Ooh smooth chords, nice trap-ish hi-hats, i really feel like i'm in the depths of space. It's a soft smooth vibe, but when the drums come in, i feel like the moods change and were in a more sudden urgent kind of feel. I love the vocals, some incredible singing, and it's processed perfectly with some killer reverb. The drums don't seem to have much low end, but i'm pretty sure this is done on purpose. Either way, it sounds beautiful, i definately don't have anything critical to say really, it's absolutely fire. So fire i picked it for the 3rd spot, amazing work!

InvisibleObserver - Interesting bassline, it's quite in your face, yet it's made in a way that it almost acts like a kick. Kick itself though was sick, it was beautifully mixed, and the chords were very nice. Has a 5th quality that goes great for the space theme. Some parts were reverbed to death, yet i don't hear it as an effect, more of an overblown part that kind of get's a bit loud. However i listened to it again, and whilst yes i still think tweaks could be made as it has potential, i still think there was more to like than dislike, so i will give you this one. Well done!

Top 3 - obScene, DDRKirby(ISQ), Starla.

I could also vote for Arcana too.
