blastron: That bass. slap bass. that phat bass. It's all so good.
Usa: I enjoyed this style of ambient work. As I mentioned, there's no melody but that actually works to its advantage. The song has a kind of cyberpunk ambiance to it. I don't know how to accurately describe it.

a-zu-ra: On a streak of incredible entries, this may be your best one yet. The "drop" at 2:00 is just awesome.
Atmospherium had this epic guitar solo. Just go listen to it... omg.
Rounding out the top 3, it seems like we can always count on Usabell to write an excellent song. Maybe all that work on his album paid off eh? ;-)
sci wins the award for best description.

A somewhat intriguing rearrange of your previous track from OHC261. I feel that this seems to have a lot more impact than the original track that this track was based on, and that things could have possibly been the other way around, but the way that this track sounds more aggressive, especially with harder drums and some crazy dubstep, than the original manages to spell out "evil" in a way.
TheMisterCat
So it seems your evil twin is good at making frenzied classical-sounding music. I kind of like how the tempo isn't really consistent like how a good amount of classical music is, which is a nice touch. Another thing that brings this piece in is how fast-paced and wild it is, which does fit the evil aspect in some ways.
Tomapella
This piece, while not necessarily being evil-sounding, gives me the feeling of playing through an RPG's intro sequence. It might have to do with some of the timbres you use throughout this song, which remind me of stuff I'd hear from games like Final Fantasy and such. Somewhat enjoyable, but nothing too groundbreaking.
Somasis
The way that the bells layer up over time is a nice effect, but the drum line kind of drowns out those bells a bit once that kicks in. Granted, the IDM adds a bit of frenzy to an otherwise calming bell line, which I suppose could be interpreted as an evil twin's yin to the bell's yang.
DrumJ8
While the first stretch of the song does start off slow and somewhat flat, I do have to admit that as the song goes on, it gets slightly more urgent and distorted, especially with the dissonance that builds up with a running drum line. The progression of this song seems more like a descent to evil rather than facing something that is evil, in my opinion.
DucksUnlimited
Having a rough bitcrush going over a running arp sounds kind of evil, I guess. Really isn't much going on with this track otherwise.
A2Z
Being fast-paced is one ingredient for depicting something evil (or rather, going against someone that's evil), and this song was rather enjoyable in some ways, especially with how nothing lets up. Not even the drums, not even the synths, not even the choice of samples. It kind of sounds a bit like a late-gen classic Beatmania song in some ways.
Atmospherium
This track gives me this feel of confronting your evil twin and telling them outright to piss off. The overall atmosphere of this song is rather aggressive, especially with its rocking guitar lines that show that you mean business.

Although not evil in the slightest (as noted in your description), the song was rather silly and reminiscent of cutscenes from WarioWare. It's enjoyable, I'll give it that.
easynam
The composition, as it goes on, sounds rather sinister, which kind of gives me this feeling of a bad guy conducting his plans before taking action at the very end. Rather well thought out, but...where does the not liking anime part come in? :o
blastron
I do notice how there are a lot of minor progressions playing in this song (to better reflect how it's supposed to be composed like your evil twin), but the composition itself doesn't really say much else.
DarkShadow
The use of rough timbres such as your backing synth and the sweeping noise filter in the latter stretch helps with the evil aesthetic; however, the song itself is kind of lacking in the atmosphere, making for a somewhat plain song that just happens to have rough sounding elements.
DDRKirby(ISQ)
This is a somewhat nice 9-bit remix of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream, alongside the part where it's just your typical DDRKirby(ISQ) fare. I take it the half time portion of this song was supposed to be the confrontation, which I suppose meets the theme, if only a small chunk of it.
Arcana
There seems to be something offbeat with the melody in conjunction with the first half of the song. I'm not sure if it's because of a small delay or if it was just sloppy work. Though chances are it's probably the latter. The song was alright, but there isn't really much going here after the initial progression, sadly.
Forty-Two [2nd]
The calm atmosphere of this song gives me a picture of someone working things out with their evil twin rather than freaking out and doing drastic things to them like some other participants in this round did (I'm sadly guilty of this). In the end, it leaves me with a conclusion that drives away the evil twin without having to resort to any sort of shaming or violence.
Usabell [1st]
In contrast to Forty-Two's entry, even though I did say that that track was a nice breather from the drastic measures depicted in other entries, this piece is pretty spot-on in capturing that feeling of confronting your evil twin without having to resort to timbres that blatantly scream evil. The ambiance, especially the thunderstorms and outdoor sounds, only serve to add plenty to the feeling of this piece. Great work.
Misael.K
At first, it seems a bit like Forty-Two's entry where it was aiming to be a little less assaulting than most of the entries on this round, except for the twist seen at the end, which caught me off-guard. I guess a twist of envy was all it took to realize the evil in this twin, especially since the song keeps its calm demeanor throughout, for the most part.
johnfn [3rd]
Little mistakes aside, this entry does run through a good amount of the theme in this round. The dissonance heard in the latter parts of this entry do this song a bit of justice, and it does a nice job telling this confrontation through the shift in moods heard as the song progresses.
THEME OVERALL
This theme was rather difficult to rate based on sound work alone, since it kind of requires an understanding of the theme to make something that closely resembled the theme. For most entries, it involved utilizing harsh textures and an in-your-face progression, so for this round, I voted more on how one handled the theme in the most unique ways. I did enjoy a good amount of the songs in this round, but being able to work with the theme in unique ways would have proved difficult to most participants, and it shows through their sound (and mine).
